What happens if carnival is canceled because of COVID?
Firstly, COVID-19 is still a real thing, and we should all still exercise caution, and social distancing. Therefore, by purchasing a costume for Miami, you agree that all payments made are final, and that you accept all responsibility and liability should anything happen as the result of COVID-19 and its variants. In the event that carnival is canceled because of COVID-19, all payments made are still non-refundable.
However, If that does happen, we will contact each masquerader and provide the options available regarding their purchase. Once deposits are made, costumes are sent immediately to production, therefore refunds cannot be given.
When is costume registration for the new carnival year?
Costume registration generally takes place immediately following the Band Launch. Please join our mailing list and visit our website for regular updates on registration times.
When is Miami Carnival?
Miami Carnival is held annually on Columbus day weekend. Carnival 2021 will be held on October 10th, 2021 at the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds. Most masqueraders arrive in Miami the Wednesday before carnival and leave the following Wednesday.
When do I need to pay for my costume?
Your non-refundable down payment must be paid upon registration, otherwise your order will be incomplete and immediately cancelled. Costumes must be paid in full by September 5th 2021.
How can I pay for my costume?
Savage Mas accepts all major Debit & Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.) Checks are not accepted for payment. All payments are made online.
What do I need for costume registration?
For registration, you need the following:
Ladies: Bra Size (34A, B, C), Bottom Size (S, M, L)
Ladies: Bra Option (Bra, Wire Bra, Monokini, One Piece)
Ladies: Bottom option (Bikini, Thong, Highwaist )
Men: Waist Size (in inches)
Down payments: (Applied to overall cost of costume)

All deposits (down payments) are 50% of the costume

I’m unable to collect my costume … Can another person collect on my behalf?
Yes, you are able to authorize someone to collect your costume on your behalf, instructions on how to do so will be provided to all registered masqueraders.
When do I collect my costume?
The costume distribution schedule will be emailed to all masqueraders, posted to our website and advertised on our social media pages. Different sections will have different distribution dates. Costumes will be distributed during the week of OCTOBER 4th , 2021. The final date of costume distribution is Carnival Friday, after which all uncollected costumes are no longer available, and will be put for sale! Costumes WILL NOT be delivered.

Can I get a refund?
By purchasing a Savage Mas costume, you agree that all payments made are non-refundable. Due to the nature of our business, costumes are custom made to your size request, therefore Savage Mas does not provide refunds. All payments made are final and non-refundable. In the event that you cannot make it to carnival or carnival is canceled by no fault of Savage Mas (any act of god, infectious diseases, venue issues, permit issues, etc.), refunds are not issued.
Are feather included in the price?
No, all costumes are sold as body wear only. All feathers can be purchased as an add for an additional price.
